 Houses and families vary greatly but there are common features to Dunbar homestays. Each homestay provide the following:

Comfort.

As a very minimum you will have your own, clean warm room that has storage space and a desk and light for study. Your homestay will have easy access to public transport and amenities

Care

You will be welcomed into the house and treated like another family member. Someone will be there to help you out, make sure you know how to get around and to offer support while you find your way around and make new friends

Communication

You will have people to talk to, practice your English with and learn about New Zealand from. Your language learning will certainly be boosted by the extra support homestay offers whilst your confidence increases from the support you receive.
